Thanks Peter for the B&W memories haha. Yes, those are also some must watch programmes too. Seems like there were many dubbed programmes in the past.

Ahhh the good old days of black & white TV in 1963-1965. Let's see what I saw...

1. Samurai was dubbed from Japanese to English- so impressed that we took out the Milk Maid tin cap and sharpened the edges and started flinging them at our "enemy" and trees. For some reason, ours could not stick to the tree unlike the TV program. The Japanese actor was one Kobayashi.

2. Green Hornet - younng Bruce Lee was the side-kick

3. Hogans Heroes - Colonel Klink, the German commandante

4. Gigantor - a Japanese dubbed program in Englsih. In primary school, boys went to the back of girls and screamed with arms opened "GIGANTOR" like in the movie

5. Man from U.N.C.L.E - David MCallum I remembered.

6. GET SMART - imagine a spy talking to his shoes because it was a secret mobile phone

When colored TV came in 1970 or 1971, boys did not like those fighting movies but preferred "Wonder Woman" - more for her big melons. My uncle was very conservative and each time the program came on air, the TV was truned off. He said, " Bad for your eyes".
